Sample of Consulting Projects

  • Arogya Agam

    Area: India
    Year: 2016

The vision of Arogya Agama is to build a just society by securing rights, health and development for marginalised people (especially women and children in poor communities) in Tamil Nadu, southern India. The main issue for the NGO at the moment is a lack of monetary resources, which may be partly due to a change of polices by previous donors. Besides that, international private donors, for example from France, have withdrawn their support. Currently many donors perceive India, and especially Tamil Nadu, as developed regions no longer in need of aid but rather of trade and diplomacy agreements. However, this region is still plagued by pockets of poverty and is one of the most severely affected by HIV in India. Therefore, organisations such as Arogya Agam are still in need of funding in order to improve people'™s living standards in the area. Consequently, 180DC KCL identified and worked with three critical areas, which were Funding Strategy, Social Media Strategy and Volunteer and Outreach Strategy.
