The LSE Student’s Branch was opened in August 2014. Since then, the branch has gone from strength to strength, building a strong base of consulting projects and a brand new public events programme. The branch are delighted to have Syed Kamall (MEP) as their patron. Syed is the leader of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group in the European Parliament and has worked tirelessly over his career to help small and medium sized charities.
Not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises are at the forefront of improving the quality of life for many of the world’s inhabitants. These organisations power development, fight against inequality and social injustice and ensure environmental sustainability. In many cases they are the sole providers of opportunities to people who would otherwise find themselves in a cycle of deprivation, which can in turn span generations. Given the importance of these organisations, the need to assist their operations by providing affordable and high quality consultancy expertise is great. It is essential that these organisations have the greatest possible impact and this forms the basis for our motivation to open 180 Degrees Consulting LSE Student’s Branch.
Applications for our next recruiting cycle are currently closed, they will re-open in Michaelmas Term 2016
