Welcome to 180 Degrees Texas A&M! We are excited to be the first to bring 180 Degrees Consulting to Texas.
Our mission is to strengthen socially conscious organizations to achieve high impact social outcomes through the development of innovative, practical, and sustainable solutions. We connect passionate students with nonprofit organizations that need consulting advice yet cannot afford the cost of large consulting firms.
Upcoming events with 180 Degrees Consulting of Texas A&M University:
On April 7, 2017 at the Cocanougher Center in Mays Business School, one of our teams will be hosting a conference called “Nonprofits in the 21st Century”. The goal of this conference is to equip and empower local Bryan-College Station nonprofits with the resources to engage with the “millennial” generation and learn how to better fulfill their mission in the 21st century.
The keynote speaker will be Mr. Donald Zale of the MB and Edna Zale Foundation. Mr. Zale will be speaking on his time serving with his family’s foundation and best practices with the changing times in the nonprofit world.
Mr. Zale will be followed by local speakers from the Bryan-College Station area. These other workshops will focus on engaging with the millennial generation, professionalism in the nonprofit world, and how best to market your nonprofit and reach out to others on social media.
We will also have Chris Field, founder of Mercy Project, speaking on how nonprofits can better utilize social media to achieve their missions.
Our final speaker will be Mrs. Lisa Fangman who serves on a Regional Advisory Board for the Make a Wish Foundation of the Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana branches.
